ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Courtney Currie and I am the owner of Sugar Magnolias. I graduated from Augusta University with a marketing degree with an emphasis on events. I then went on to persue my real estate license which ultimately lead me to finding Sugar Magnolias. I worked in the event business for a few years before deciding I wanted to purchase my own venue. I purchased this home in October of 2020. This was probably one of the scariest times to start an event business but I had a vision. I fell in love with the original hardwood floors, beautiful pocket doors, lots of crown molding, heigh ceilings, and a massive floor to ceiling mirror.  

 

If you're wondering where the venue name came from, I am a huge Grateful Dead fan and this is one of my favorite songs. When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and going to concerts.

 

I immediately fell in love with this place the very first time I saw it and I know you will too! I look forward to helping make your time at Sugar Magnolias unforgettable.
